I got this amazing Digi from Julia Spiri and I adore it! I decided that this beautiful image needed to be pride of place on a card. I fussy cut her after colouring her with pencils. I glued some patterned paper to a shaped card and cut it out so it matched the previous card shape. Next I embossed a scalloped shape with a Sheena embossing folder before mounting the sentiment onto with 3d craft foam. I added candi around the edge of the card and on the corners of the base.

The next fortnights challenge over at Simply Create Too is #108 Ladies Only. For my card I went all pink with beautiful paper from Craftwork cards. I paired this with this fab digi which I also coloured pink. I used some banner dies to add some interest to the background and used some coordinating paper on them. Pop over to Simply Create Too and join in our challenge!

On the inside of the card I added a pop up butterfly which I cut from the same paper pad.

Green & Purple - Simply Create Too

What am I going to make for a green and purple colour combination challenge? I thought to myself but then I saw a bendy card design in the silhouette store. This paired with my mum asking me to make a card for a new neighbour and this card was born! I actually love this card and the colour combination.

I got my amazing Digi from Kenny K! As soon as I saw her I knew she was made to lean on a pint of Guinness. I coloured her up with ProMarkers adding lots of green in the spirit of St Patrick's day. I found a pint file and the sentiment in the silhouette store and paired them. I cut the glass from acetate which you can see she is leaning on. I finished my card with more files from the silhouette store and some candi.
For the inside of my card I used another silhouette store file to create a pop up of four leaf clovers.

Green Dragonfly - #104 Simply Create Too

For Simply Create Too's challenge this month - #104 Use Green Only, I created this simple card. I love my brusho backgrounds at the moment so decided to make one for my green only DT make. I used leaf green and sea green and spritzed with water, I love the result! After it had dried I used an edge'ables die for my sentiment. My die cutter has been a little neglected since I got my cameo so I had to blow off the dust first!

I cut my dragonfly on green glittered cardstock and added my gems to the bottom corner. I wanted to give effect of the dragonfly moving so I added a crystal swirl to finish it off.

I hope you like my card! Pop over to Simply Create Too to see the other DT makes and join in the challenge yourself!

My digi is Cupido from Zuri Artsy Craftsy and is adorable! I decided to colour this little cutie and pop him in a pop up card. I did this by using a blank template, mounting some coordinating paper and adding some hearts. I put Cupido and the hearts onto some acetate to make them appear as if they are floating. I finished my card with a love sentiment on glitter cardstock.
